Default Today's lunch ride: Temp swing!

Today's lunch ride takes us to San Diego's own Mt. Laguna. I stopped and grabbed a map at 6000 ft.

It was a typical California spring day with a 30 degree variation in temp. It was foggy and 65 at the coast and 95 in the foothills. The top of the mountain was about 75 but there was still lingering snow hanging around.

I posed the Blue Angel looking down into the desert. It was a gorgeous day and one could see for miles.

Tomorrow the GF and I are planning a weekend ride to Joshua Tree National Park.

Default How do you do it?

How is it possible for you to take on these excruciatingly difficult lunch rides on a world class touring machine without it affecting your mental and physical health over time? Next thing you know you'll be frequenting 5 star restaurants and resorts. If you haven't already, think about this. It could alter your perspective and cause you to really do something damaging to your outlook on life. Be careful my friend you are on the precipice of total consciousness and you don't even have to have a reason.

About the same amount of snow up in Tahoe, this last weekend was outstanding. Took a little hike down to a solitary beach on the east side of the lake. Sadly I had to return to the cube farm.
