Default Jesse trying again...

Anyone see the episode of 'Sons of Guns' with Jesse James? There was a preview of his new show (starting in a couple weeks), where he has opened a custom car (didn't see any bikes) shop in Austin.

He talks about 'losing it all,' and selling everthing in L.A., and going for it.

My wife (who will never forgive him for what he is reported to have done to Ms. Bullock) said she thought he'd stay away from TV. Maybe he's a glutton for punishment.

And, in the SoG episode, he's riding what looks to be a Dyna-based vesrion of the old FXRT. Bullet fairing and hard bags. And, it looks like it has extended forks. Maybe he's slammed the rear end.

Kinda weird looking.

Oh, on the Gun show, they "built" him a "custom" BAR, with billet aluminum fore-end and pistol grip, and an AR-looking buttstock. Looked like crap.

Sometimes that show almost makes me change channels.

I love guns, hence, I loathe "Sons of Guns."

Default Drama

If there is no drama create some. This show is typical of the reality mess on TV. I also have never been a fan of the overly custom anything. Great design needs no enhancement.

The more degraded the individual the more likely they are to get a
TV show.

Yah. I was thnking if they hooked a generator to Col. Browning's feet, they could power Ogden for a good while...

SoG's a 'train wreck' site for me. I can't help myself. I love watching stuff blow up. I like the high-speed camera stuff, too.

I guess it's like porn back in the day. You suffer through whatever there is for "plot" for what you really want to see.

I can't watch Top Shot, though. That's a 10-minute show stretched WAY too long.

I consider Ogden a holy site, and will make a pilgrimage someday.

Good show, no manufactured drama, interesting weapons. But two seasons was enough for me. I only caught a few of Season 3's shows, but man, that Christian kid was a phenom.

I can't watch that stuff myself, I get my fix watching Weaponology on the Military Channel. Mike Loades does some interesting shows on Medievel Weapons on the History Channel too. Jesse James just needs to give it up, your 15 minutes are over dude..

The IRS Office in Ogden sends me a fat refund every year. I don't consider it a Holy place though, that would be Canterbury or even Rome since kissed and made up....
