It's really nice. Mine just has a swastika and deaths head. Seriously it is really nice. Is it painted or an applique of some kind?

The Flying Tigers artwork has been one of my favorites since I was a kid. I have a small sticker set on the chin bar of my older Nolan.

Answer to my own question
Original artwork for production helmets is transfered as a decal to the injection molded shell. Yours is one of the best I've seen. A lot nicer than the boy racer transfers.

Functionally, though, it has two serious drawbacks.
One, the cheek pads are shaped in such a way that they channel the arms of my eyeglasses up higher than my ears, causing the glasses to "float" above my nose. I had to use duct tape and electrical tape to flatten an area for the arms to pass through. Second, it's noisy. Hurricane noisy. It's got speaker pockets behind some mesh, so I stuffed them with cotton. Helps a little. Fits great, though.
