Today's lunch ride. The Hide Out
San Diego is a bitter 75 degrees this winter. I thought I would take the GT1000 out for a 150 mile battery charge.
I rolled up highway 78 through Ramona and then north via Santa Isabel and the Mesa Grande Indian reservation.  I stopped at a popular location on weekends to snap this photo. I was the only bike around as it is closed midweek.  I finished with a nice lunch at the Lake Henshaw cafe and motored home.

Tomorrow will be 44 and sunny here in tropical Maine. Gonna take the Sporty out to circulate the Sta-Bil and top off the tank before I pull the battery. Hope the wind doesn't get up my skirt.

I think you should chop that thing, or at least cut it down to a slick naked bike. Lose the fairing, all that excess bodywork and "features." Make a man's bike out of it.

No, if you add German parts to an Italian bike it'll turn into the nearest Triumph dealer and beg to be traded in. I went on a breakfast ride in a balmy 45 degrees and sunny, then went to watch the annual Polarbear leap off the bridge in Ollala. No, I did not participate, jumping off a bridge into 28 degree salt water doesn't seem like that good an idea even if it is New Years day tradition..
