I usually call them today's lunch ride, but I was too lazy to put up the pics yesterday.

Our trip started with a nice ride from my Seaside town to Julian, CA.

From Julian I continued upward. The day was warm and clear and the recent snow had all melted. It's hard to see in the picture but I could see all the way to the Salton Sea, bright blue in the background.

An altitude shot for flatlander MofoS.

A pleasant 175 round trip for a roast beef sandwich. I then pointed the Blue Angel home.

Sounds like a great jaunt!

I used to do that back when I was stationed at 32nd Street.
