Default Best song in human history?

We've heard the worst, this is certainly one of the best......

Natalie Merchant - Carnival - Beautifully Live ! 1999 - Lyrics - TigerLily - YouTube

Not the best, but certainly not bad at all.

You old softy you.

I actually like her and Sarah McLaughlin.

The new Adele cd is pretty good too.

I used to play a coffee shop guitar gig with my sister before marriage. She did most of the singing so we played Natalie Merchant, Sheryl Crow and other chick tunes.

My brother in law said, "you play guitar in a coffee shop band and ride a Harley, if you can't get laid now there's no hope for you."

I was going to see Adele in Atlanta but she had to cancel her tour due to damage to her vocal chords. It's a shame, she has a great voice.

Your brother in law was right. Even if you couldn't get laid in a whor*house on dollar day you should have been able to get laid with a setup like that.

It's a nice song. Music is too subjective to have a best or worst anyhow, it's all subjective.

Personally, I like this more: Sugarland - Already Gone - YouTube

There are so many great tunes! Sammy Hagar, "I Don't Need Love" always gets me banging away at the air guitar!

SAMMY HAGAR St. Louis 1983 rare live dvd BABY'S ON FIRE, I DON'T NEED LOVE - YouTube (starting at 3:44)

Saying that - I'm not much into 'organized spirituality,' but I gotta say that every time I hear Ronnie sing this, it gets to me:

Brooks & Dunn - Believe (Official Music Video) - Video

When I was cruising the Bahamas I played "Carribean Blue" by Enya every time I raised anchor or left a port.

Its really quite good, IMO. You can hear it here:
