OK, I know that technically, this should go in Motorcycle General Discussion. But the cool kids all hang out here.

Finally took some pics of the new Sporty today. I wanted to wait until I got it pretty much set up like I want. So now it's got a Mustang seat, a Grifter license-plate-mount storage box, a luggage rack, and most importantly, 2"-over Progressive 440 shocks. Oh, yeah, and a pretty pin-up.

Apologies for the uninspired photography. My camera is cheap and my skills are poor.

Here's a good view of the longer shocks. I think they work really well with the chopped Iron fender. Gives it an aggressive look:

Here's the Mustang seat:

The Grifter storage box. It's pretty handy on a bike with zero storage. I had to mount it on the back of the plate frame. The plastic box was fairly unsightly, so I got this plate with my monogram on it to cover up the back:

When I get bored with the monogram and feel like Harleying it up, I've got this plate. Pretty f***ing badazz, huh, Buz? Have a taste:

And the pretty girl. Now Buz can say I'm a lesbian:

The first picture the artwork looked like it was Cheech Wizard, now I see it's just some broad on a 500 pounder, You probably are a rug-muncher.....

Nice and clean! I like it!

What do you put in the 'Grifter' box? A pack of Lucky Strikes and a Bic lighter. Maybe a small Bic lighter?

You need to put a BUB 2-into-1 pipe on that'n. It'd clean up the right side, and the Bub is a b1tchin' pipe. Assuming, of course, they still offer such. The Thunderheader is a really good pipe, but methinks it'd not look right on the Sporty.

Let me see if this works...

I have always liked the Sportster this one looks great. Are you going to change the front end any? More importantly why does the chick on the bomb have so many clothes on?

I think I'm going to keep it simple and fairly quiet with a set of black Screamin' Eagles.

The Grifter now holds:

A ten-dollar bill
A homemade flat aluminum kickstand plate
A Swiss Army card (with pen, tweezers, knife)
A packet of Tylenol
A sunscreen wipe
A narrow nylon strap with buckle

There's still a little space left over for a condom and a combination Bible/Russkie phrasebook.

Thanks! I've been digging on Sportsters since I was a pup, so it's kind of a dream bike for me (shut up, Buz. You too, Ken). I may go with Progressive springs in the front someday. And I have to peel those ugly reflectors off.
