Default On the road again

I'm on another biz trip and sitting in the airport lounge.

HLN is on the TV in here.

Good God! Is CNN trying to capture the single digit IQ viewer with this programming? It makes Mr. Rodgers look high-brow.

Truly embarrassing.

It used to be called Headline News in the old days.

It's a separate channel from CNN but it's their network.

HLN sucks hard. I used to like it becuase I could catch all the big news in 10-15 minutes on the hour or 1/2 hour. Not anymore...it's more like MTV than a news channel nowadays.

I guess they're trying to win the Fox 'n Friends market.

I once made it through five minutes of that. No brag, just fact. My wife overheard some of it from the kitchen and she's still comatose.

Just like ER2, you keep with these digs as if you believe this board is full of "Fox Watchers". I don't watch any of them; not Fox, not CNN, not MSNBC, none of them.

For nearly a decade now, if it isn't print-media (about 10-15% of my news - mostly Local) or teh Inturwebz, I don't give a **** about it.

I watch Megan Kelly (Fox around noon-ish) because it's on when I do my lunchtime workout.

Otherwise, if it's not on Discovery or the History Channel, I probably won't see it.
