They quoted me something like $9700 OTD with a bunch of doc fees and jacked-up freight. I politely but firmly said he'd have to lose all of that, and he immediately went down to $8500 OTD. Since I'm a crap bargainer and I'm sure it's a pretty low-margin bike, I said, "Deal." The negotiations took about five minutes.

And I'm going to need a vest just to carry minor stuff. No underseat storage?
Yeah, they will always try to screw you with some outrageous price.

Don't forget the fringed hard faux-leather saddle bags with conchos that are so beloved by your new and future riding buddies.

As far as the turn signals go, once you get used to them you'll be glad that you are no longer riding 50 miles down the road with your blinker on.

Ding-ding-ding!

Buz wins the "First with the Sportsters are Girl's Bikes Crack" award.

It's a prize I made myself - one pound of a delicious treat called Schizuki's Angry Fudge.

Pack some for Buz right now!

PS: The bike is actually a leftover 1957.

Be sure to post pics of the fudge, the bike too, but I don't think there are google image results for "Schizuki's Angry Fudge".

"Like!"

Skinny jeans and Vans are also an option.
