Default Instant Karma....

So I get up this morning and leave Chateau Sarnali for work at O dark thirty, taking my GT today as I rode the GS over the weekend.. As I meander through the backroads I come across a work crew righting a power pole that had fallen across the road. Back tracking and working my way around the obstruction I'm back on course albeit about 10 minutes later than usual.

I get down to 167 and traffic is at a near standstill, " just what I needed, more delays" thinks I.. I roll along in stop and slow traffic for a few miles till I see flashing lights in the mirror, a Stater blazes by and soon we come upon the scene of the obstruction. A few cars in the ditch on one side, a few on the shoulder on the other, all with apparently minor damage and everyone standing around looking annoyed.

What got my attention was that this had only just occurred and was about where I would have been had I not been delayed earlier....Having gotten caught in the middle of a multi car pile up and punted down the road a few years ago I'm in no hurry to repeat the experience, so I'd like to thank whichever one of the pantheon of Gods, Goddess's and various other deities that happened to knock that pole down for saving me from a truly miserable day ..I'll roast a lamb for you..

Fun Facts to Know and Tell!

Thomas Jefferson wrote that the 1st Amendment erected a "wall of separation" between the church and the state (James Madison said it "drew a line," but it is Jefferson's term that sticks with us today). The phrase is commonly thought to mean that the government should not establish, support, or otherwise involve itself in any religion.

Its.......A FACT!

Thank Bokonon that you are safe and still able to practice boko-maru.

I'd say it's time for you to pull out the old 'Skein of life' signature line you had before...

Glad the Gods/the Good Lord/(Your particular Supreme Spiritual Leader here) were on your side!

I've often seen accidents and thought the same way, what if I had left just afew minutes earlier. Can't help but wonder if I'd have been caught up in the incident.
