Default Beemer # 5

Picked up an '07 K1200GT yesterday, 28k miles, showroom condition with a nice leather Russell Daylong for $9900........not a bad deal, it has almost new Pilot Roads on it...all the usual heated grips and seat, 'lectronic adjustable boingers, abs, 'lectronic shield...I believe it has traction control too...

Oughta' be fun anyway, looks good next to the GS in the garage.

Jeez!

The water-boiling business must be doing well!

Congrats!

I have a friend who was a A6 plane captain on the Kitty, now he does commercial Test& Trials for about $25k p/a less than I make. The deal is of course while there's a fairly high demand for High Pressure Steam Plant Operators here in CIV/LANT there's a very low demand for strike birds...

I always suspected BMW puts a chemical in their seat coverings that seeps into the ass of their buyers. All reason and common sense goes out the window, they start thinking that $750 for brake pads makes perfect sense.

Its.......A FACT!

That in and of itself got me my job - one of the requirements was a BS in Poultry Science or related field, and I'm a HS Dropout (but with a GED).

Williams and Davis make weak, ****ty Scotch-Marine boilers with thin heads. Don't spec them for anything......

I am waiting for the fall to buy a new bike. Haven't found the right deal so far. This year anyway.I did notice the other day while riding my R1150r a strange sensation welled up through my ass.I found myself wanting to buy another BMW and pay 1K over list.Strange indeed. It is good to see someone elses good fortune.Lord loves a working man.Good Luck and Ride Safe.

I'm saving my pennies for a Duc SS. I could swear there's one out there somewhere calling my name. I can also already hear my gf saying, "You don't need another motorcycle in your garage." She's right, but ... I really, really want one. Maybe that feeling will go away once I'm riding my current steeds on a regular basis again.

Congrats on your K1200GT!

I get to buy a new central A/C instead of a motorcycle this year.

BUT IT Frikin ROCKS! It's a Trane XL20i. This baby is going to pump out 3.5 TONS of ice-cold awesomeness. It has a CAN-bus type data network between the air-handler, the DUAL compressors, and the thermostat. What about that thermostat, you ask? It's a HIGH-DEF, TOUCH SCREEN display with thousands of programming options. AND, I can put an app on my iPhone and program that ***** from anywhere in the world! Chicks are going to dig that: "Yeah baby, let me cool off the love nest from here at the bar, while we get you heated up." I even have to extend the A/C slab to hande this monster. You can't stop a Trane!

All that for the price of nice motorcycle. Am I lucky or WHAT!?!?!

I hope you are powering that baby with a windmill and that it keeps your merkin nice and cool.
