Default The Ton is Done.....

Took awhile this year because of ice, snow and general crap weather however I made it last night. My 31 year old Annual Tradition of hitting 100 on my first ride of the year (preferably New Years Day) is intact for another year. By the time I got home from work it was getting dark, wet with light rain and fog but at a steady 45* all day the ice was gone so I walked the trusty GS up to 100 then rolled on to 110 for a mile or too, came home and had a nice tumbler full of Jamesons 12 year old Special Reserve.

Life is Good my friends............

Did it on New Year's day.

Of course on the K1300, you don't need much road to hit it.

Fun Facts to Know and Tell!

Thomas Jefferson wrote that the 1st Amendment erected a "wall of separation" between the church and the state (James Madison said it "drew a line," but it is Jefferson's term that sticks with us today). The phrase is commonly thought to mean that the government should not establish, support, or otherwise involve itself in any religion.

Its.......A FACT!

I was pleasantly surprised, that 1200 motor was still pulling past 110 with no trouble. Other than the Trophy and my 2 Bandits the bikes I've had for the last few years all top out a little over 100 so it's still a thrill to crank up there,

The old adage about being more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow is still valid.
