Default RIP- Leslie!

Leslie Neilson died yesterday. Poseidon Adventure was a great movie when you're 6yo in a huge movie theater, but I am a huge Airplane fan. I wish they could make comedy movies that way still.

Good luck, we're all counting on you.

Surely, they could!

Many great performances. R.I.P.

I had a great evening sharing "Airplane" with my kid a few years ago. Amazing how most of the humor held up after 30 years (the Hari Krishnas in the airport lost him).

Vaya con Dios!

Don't forget the Naked Gun also.

A Classic!

I loved his movies! Sad day, indeed.

Life here is but Act I. Leslie has moved on to Act II.

Act II - Leiber.

Act II - Brute.

Act II - Gesundheit.

Hey, don't sell his serious roles short. He was large and in charge when he was scoring with Anne Francis in "Forbidden Planet". He was Kirk when Shatner hadn't hadn't even started freaking out over coin-op psychics and demonic airplane-wrecking teddy bears.
