Has anyone ever own a Scirocco? I have. That was one fun front wheel drive car.

My buddy bought a Triumph TR7 in 1986. That went about as well as you'd think.

OK- I'll quit the rant.
Carry on.

BTW- I have met most of these guys because I was a live audio engineer in the late 80s through late 90s. Just another fact you have learned about me. Oh, and Rhett's brother Lucky is one of my best friends to this very day.
I saw white snake and Judas Priest in San Diego in the summer. Coverdale had laryngitis and sucked.

Whitensake was popular in the 80s but they had records in the 70s after Coverdale was out of Deep Purple. Ive got some 70s Whitesnake vinyl and they are Bad Companyish rather than 80s hair band.

Default I should have kept that car

First car 69 Z28.

Pink Floyd is my all time favourite.

I must admit they were a different band without Waters.

What it comes down to is all I want is to be free to ride my machine and not be hassled by the Man.

They had the "Barn" auction last weekend that had a 69 Judge that sold for $680k and a Yenko Camaro that was up, too. I don't think anyone picked up the Yenko. Those are like finding original Ferarri Daytonas right now. Well over $1 mil.

So, where's the Z28?

The TR-7's, especially the Gen II's, were actually pretty cool cars. In retrospect a lot of the car experts are saying they were highly under-rated. I got to drive a TR-8 (I owned a TR-6 back in the 80's, it was pretty cool) and that car was awesome! The power to weight ratio made it blazing fast, and the handling was top-notch. I'd love to get one, but they're rare as hen's teeth and the prices are astronomical if you can find one.

Default The Great Gig in the Sky

So, where's the Z28?[/quote]

The Z was sold off to purchase a 75 Trans Am.
The Trans Am(what a dissappointment of a car)was stolen 18 months later.
May be the Beach Boys have got her now.
Long may you run.
