Interesting takes here.

Especially on electric cars and Honda. He's saying what some of us have been saying for a while.

Toyota can no longer hide the fact that there is, or at least was a fundamental corporate culture at work in its hallways based on deliberate obfuscation, a pattern of stonewalling and a steadfast refusal to admit guilt for anything. It’s as if the powers that be at Toyota started to believe that they were in fact, infallible and that nothing of any consequence would happen to derail their inexorable march to the top of the mountain in the auto business.
Apparently, they put something in the Water over there in Japan - Mitsubishi and Nissan have both suffered from exactly the same problem - with the head of Mitsu in the late '90s all but committing seppuku in an apology to his Employees and Customers over essentially the same damn thing that's currently corroding Toyota from within.

When Honda aligns itself with the desert tortoise conservancy, global warming research and "heal the desert" nonsense you see why they produce watered down crap now.

That article hit it in the bullseye. Thanks for the link.

I only wish for better American made motorcycling options...then I could really spout off about how I wouldn't buy foreign junk anymore...but then there are the policies put in place by our "government" to "protect" our commerce ...or pad their pockets, whichever comes 1st ! Wasn't Buell gonna make a dirtbike ? Whatever happened to him anyway ? And this Mexican Polaris crap, don't get me going... Jeez ! New World Order ? Pffft ... ride vintage ! 2 strokes !
