The Verticalscope That Ate Philadelphia

For years I've been a regular at Stromtrooper.com - Powered by vBulletin. The site was started by "a guy" named Brendan, who built it into an incredible resource for VStrom owners. The site was actually a deciding factor when I chose my bike; the amount of information available on everything from valve adjustment to accessories is astonishing. There's a guy named "Greywolf" on the site daily who can diagnose and remotely repair damn near anything on our bikes. Quite a few vendors post threads on their products and services, and get a lot of business out of it.

This week, Verticalscope bought the site. Last week they floated some banner ads, much to everyone's dismay. Other than that, it's pretty much the same so far. They don't have nearly the "Politics and Religion" content there that we have here, so that won't be an issue.

It should be interesting to see how it goes.
