What a bummer. My son heard "Man on the Silver Mountain" when he was about 8 and wanted it on his iPod.
I've seen Dio a couple of times in his various forms-Rainbow, Sabbath, Dio, etc. The dude had great pipes and never phoned in a show. He always gave maximum effort. I'm gonna walk around all day giving people the devil's horns salute. I'm not sure Dio invented that, but he popularized it. Or perhaps he was just missing his two middle fingers.

Dio claims he was the originator of the "devil horn" salute. I have no reason to doubt it. RIP Dio! Cancer's a *****. Tough way to go out.
