Having been in the doghouse for weeks the wifey has finally given a reprieve. So, since real gifts aren't usually given during Mother's day or Father's day we cook for one another.

Usually for breakfast I do eggs benedict, but I'm thinking of a bad assed quiche.

Follow this: shrimp, bacon, tomatoes, cream cheese, mushrooms and a little spinich. side of grits (i'm from the south so layoff the jokes) and fresh fruit.

Any other ideas for breakfast or dinner? Haven't even thought of dinner, yet.

I would but I got into the doghouse by selling the K bike and taking the money and buying the Zrex. No difference in values, but because I didn't run the approval across the bow first I was wrong- according to her. So, she's not riding with me anywhere for a while.

I was going to go bling on her, but she was whining that we should spent frivolously. That will probably get me into trouble again. Maybe bling is the way and I'll just take the heat for spending the bucks.

Inadvertantly locking her in the trunk with the dog probably didn't help anything, I imagine........

Does sound good though... As an alternative, you could do a Spanish tortilla (eggs, potatoes, tomatoes, anything else you want to put in).

Mimosas. 2/3 Champagne, 1/3 OJ. Great for hangovers too.

I really enjoy the Sunday Bloody Mary vs the mimosa but I'd score easy points with the mimosas.

Well my kids mom has been gone for over 6 years now so that's not a problem, my mother will probably inflict her lunacy on us for dinner so I'll buy a leg of Lamb and roast it on my rotisserie, that usually goes over well. I have to work that day and besides my girly friend will be busy with her kids. sooo, that covers it for me anyway...
