Default Dumb American PC Stuff

We have a thread for the dumb stuff the Brits do in the name of political correctness but I think we Americans are getting there.

Isn't it amazing what a non-Mexican holiday started by beer companies can do?

Yes yes. More liberal tolerance.

I have it on Good Authority that Cinco de Mayo is made more of a "Big Deal" in the US than ever it will be in Old Mexico.......

I'm not sure what's worse, that this happened or that this kid and his friends "...were sitting at a table during brunch break." Brunch break? Really?

Cinco de drinko is NOT celebrated in Mexico. It is NOT Mexican Independence day.

It's funny that our dear President attended a Cinco de Mayo celebration and made a speech. Even if it WAS a real Mexican holiday, why would a president honor it?

Are they honoring 4th of July in Mexico these days?

Wasn't it some celebration of winning a battle against the French?

Mexican Independence day is September 16th.

Too bad we didn't listen to old Andy Jackson, Manifest destiny would have made Mexico just another state. Would have been a lot better for the Mexicans too, who would be known as Americans.

Of course we whould have had to put up with that silly music, damn Prussians and their Omm-pa-pa stuff...anoying.

On the other hand we'd have better wedding parties than those boring stick-up-the-@ss protestant type weddings.
