Default Go see "Kick-Ass"

Wildly entertaining flick. Funny, exciting, great use of music, and four very distinct high-action scenes, three of which are quite original.

And Nic Cage is great. Seriously.

It's Watchmen + Zombieland. 4/4 stars.

Don't get me wrong - I LIKE Lil' Nicky Cage - but he only has ever played but ONE Character - and that's Nicholas Cage........

Isn't this the movie that Roger Ebert found "morally reprehensible"?

Now that's pretty funny coming from Roger Ebert.

I've found that when it comes to questions of politics and social mores, doing the opposite of Ebert is a good policy.

"The last words in George Orwell's notebook were: "At age 50, every man has the face he deserves." Although it is outrageously unfair and indefensibly subjective of me, I cannot prevent myself from observing that Chavez and his cabinet have open, friendly faces, quick to smile, and that the faces of his opponents are closed, shifty, hardened." - Roger Ebert.

Well, Roger, I agree with your first sentence.

Well, there's a new Robin Hood with Russell Crowe which is bound to be a winner, there's the new Clash o' the Titans which is a slam dunk and that new one about Chinese Warlords that should be good.

Ol' Russell is fast becoming my favorite actor, I haven't seen a bad movie yet he was in.

I dunno. The reviews I've seen and comments from some folks that have seen the new CotT all say the older one was a better movie, albeit without the CGI that runs rampant through the new one.

Might have to check out KA. Sounds like a "Great Navy Movie."

"Master and Commander" is probably my favorite movie of all time. Aside from making me mad that the ships and service of that era are gone forever.
