I found an earthworm on the pool deck yesterday. I guess he was trying to get out of the water in the grass; it was raining really hard. At first I thought I'd just toss him in a dry spot in the lawn, but then I thought that maybe my cichlid would enjoy eating him. I gave him a quick rinse using the kitchen faucet, and then took him over to my aquarium. I held on to one end of the worm and dangled the other in the water. Grover, my large yellow cichlid, swam up and grabbed the end of the worm. He slurped the worm up like a kid eating spaghetti. It was great. Later, Grover's tummy was buldging out. He looked really happy. I hope I find another worm like that one soon.
