I don't even understand the concept of being "offended." I've never been offended in my life.

If someone says something "offensive", then either it's true, in which case I'm grateful it's been pointed out so I can correct it, or they're just being obnoxious, in which case the person is an a$$hole, and you can't be offended by an a$$hole, because his opinion is meaningless.

I was at a party at my uncle's (Mom's brother's) house when I was twelve. I was shooting pool with my cousin, and I overheard one of my uncle's Irish cop buddies say to him, "I see ya got a dago messin' up the lot, huh?" (my mother is German/Irish and my father was Italian). I just laughed. The guy was an a$$hole. I was laughing at him. I wasn't offended in the least. How is it I could be more of a grown-up at twelve than the so-called adults who pi$$ their pants and cry over every goddamn thing they hear? Pu$$ies.
