No need to weld a thing - just a double-handful of fence-wire staples, a vise, and a pair of pliers. Put one leg of the staple in the vise, give the other leg a "tweak" to put 'em about 30-40degrees out of line. Seed Liberally (in the "classic" definition) across the area you wish to control.

Oh, the people you'll piss off.........

"Let me help you out, LR."

Don't bother. I already have my own mind. Go talk to the neighbors.

"In between is a lot of other stuff of varying degrees that reasonable people capable of a minimal degree of logical discrimination can agree upon."

And I've already agreed that your exhaust is obxoxious and mine is fine, so it's pretty much settled. Easy. The best part of your argument is that you never admitted running an illegally loud exhaust yourself. Denial must be bliss.

I finally figured out what the supposed 'noise problem' is. Nobody with an illegal, loud pipe thinks they are part of the problem. The worst part is they think they are part of the solution.
Okay. I'll bite. So, what do you propose for motorcycles? No aftermarket exhausts? Or should everyone be allowed to put any pipe on they want, no matter how loud?
