I haven't seen a new movie in about 2 years. Can't say I missed much.

Between this and Hot Tub Time Machine, I have to ask: WTF happened to John Cusack?

He started taking himself seriously. Now he thinks he's making "social comment" or whatever the egotistical holier-than-thou Hollywood moralists call it... between visits to rehab and divorce court. Nothing like being preached to by a cokehead.

The only cliche this thing didn't step in was the man-made part of the calamity. I kept waiting for them to blame Bush or Big Oil! but it never happened.

Still, I figured I was watching a comedy most of the way through. It got all serious at the end and I thought, "were they not trying to be funny most of the movie?"

Just embarrassingly bad. My 12 year old thought it was stupid.

The last new movie I watched was District 9, I thought that was great in the way only a Sath Affrikan movie can be. I'm waiting for the new Clash Of the Titans to come out, I'm a big fan of the original and anything with Alexa Davalos in it has to be good.

So I take it that it was worse than "The Day After Tomorrow"? I didn't think that was possible.

I never saw Day After. I think Day After was all based on GW crap.

As I said, at least this movie wasn't basing the disaster on evil mankind.

Still a turd.
