Default War Crimes?

I guess it's time to put 'The Messiah' on trial for war crimes if we hold to Ken Moore's standard that he held for Bush!

McChrystal apologizes as airstrike kills dozens in Afghanistan - CNN.com

Even Ken would agree it's time.

"We've got to get the job done [in Afghanistan]. And that requires us to have enough troops so that we're not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous problems there."

- Barack Obama, 2007.

Things look a lot different on the field than they do from the sidelines, eh, Barry?

Considering he wasn't the one apologizing for the loss of civilian lives, he (Obama) may not consider this his responsibility. Even though he is the CINC.

It's tough to fight an enemy and avoid civilian casualties when they (the enemy) are disguised as civilians and hiding amongst the non-combatant population while engaged in their insurgent activities.

I don't condone the willful taking of civilian lives, but at the same time I understand why it happens, and I don't think that should deter us from aggressively pursuing our enemies. Perhaps we need better PR/propaganda to illuminate that the Taliban are putting civilians in harm's way by putting them in the middle of insurgent operations.

Bush's fault. That's all you will be hearing for the next 3 or 7 years.
