Could that be because the Enlightened Left are doing their damndest to shut them down (whether "actively" attempting to get them closed, or opposing Permits to upgrade and refurbish them)? I love how the "Reporter" suddenly shows us he's been a closet marine-Veterinarian all this time.

As I have said before, it's not global warming that's the problem it's global cooling. As the atmo temporarily warms up the evaporation rate increases, that puts more moisture in the air and cools it off where it returns as rain or snow. Higher evaporation rates also increase the salinity of the ocean which alters the current which brings on yet another ice age

You gotta wonder how the manatees (a Cajun word for "the other white meat") have survived as long as they have.
They are, pretty much, a 'sea cow'. They behave just about exactly the same way as a 'land cow.' Imagine how well Ol' Bossy would do if you let her wander around town.
