Cool Had to get out,....

Well could'nt stand the boardom any longer so I got my last miniscule check and vacated the premisses. The Motorcycle Sales job that is. It was hard to leave because it is truly my passion, well maybe not the selling part, just the going fast part

Thank goodness LR was not also correct about my next job invovling hamburgers. Think I might have come into something worth-while maintaning forclosed properties for the banks as a subcontractor. Seems to be a bit better than the last gig, and apparently summer time is going to blow up with a host of lawn maintenance.

PS: What the.....SuperMod, me? N i c e....

Good luck the economy sucks for sure. I'd rather mow grass then stand in an empty showroom full of last years models awaiting a customer to hope fr a comission check.

I worked in Moto-sales for a short time which inspired me to get the hell out and start my own company.

The rest is history and so is your 401k if I get near it!

Lawnmower Man's in YOUR head now!.........

Ah, too bad there's no money in moto-sales right now. Sucks, but true. Congrats on the new job, and the "new MO-job", too.

We made you the race forum moderator. So get to work. And don't worry because it doesn't even pay peanuts.

Moke,

I enjoyed my time selling HD's; it was a lot of fun, and it was always great making it possible for someone to ride off on their new bike. In just a year I made a lot of friends and learned a lot. But, the pay was atrocious; it wouldn't have been so bad if they'd had 3 or 4 sales people, but they'd hire 3 times that, so nobody made any real money except the managers and F&I people.

SUPERMOD??? Yay, at last we get some "Fair and Balanced" moderation around here. The Mod Squad (tm) has been stacked with Right-Wing evildoers long enough. I think your first order of business should be organizing the regulars for a drug-crazed, motorcycle crime spree across several states. Just as soon as it gets warmer.
