Bio has promise. It's biggest issue is marketing. These guys I know locally use soy and hemp along with a synth added that makes a fuel that doesn't smell like day old fries. If manufacturers would deliver diesel vehicles that you put bio in like E85 fuel in gas cars it would help the industry. It won't likely happen, but it would be nice.

Say what you want about how great newer diesels are, just don't chalk it up to the Euros understanding something we don't.

The price at the pump explains it all.

And if you homebrew yer own - just STFU and refrain from slathering your vehicle with stickers advertising the fact that yer "stickin' it to the Man". Unless you want to be singled-out by the DOT who would love to see your mileage log and fuel-tax receipts................
