I'm thinking about getting a Buell. I can't pass up a half price deal. About 6G out the door for an 09 1200 Lightning Long (air cooled) or 6G for an 1125 CR. Give me the thumbs on which one and why. I'm leaning heavily on the 1200 Long. I'm checkin em out tomorrow. Fire away!

Already having an air-cooled Buell, I'd get the CR. There's something about the sound of the CR engine I don't like. Everyone I know that has gone from the air-cooled engine to the Rotax engine loves the intoxicating pow-wah.

Tough call. If you still have the Busa, then I'd say go for the Lightning.

Parts may be less of a future problem with the aircooled engine.

Will you be able to test ride them? That would be the determining factor if it were me.
