I will tell everyone you CANNOT beat the price on one of these. I could have gotten two out the door for one Busa, or three for one Ducati Streetfighter! Is that a deal? Smokin! The only way I could have gotten it cheaper was to steal it, and after I left the dealer, I felt like I pretty much did!

The V-Strom is ugly. This thing looks pretty wicked. 140 HP and just over 400 lbs. is never ugly!

That would be my 2nd choice. After an Uly or Lightning. (I'm torn betwixt those two XBs near-equally)

The CR and its brother make me think of the 'Priller Tuono (or Falco) and Mille. Both scary-fast bikes with trick technology and strange (yet strangely attractive) looks.

Lots of people think it's ugly. I'm cool with that. In red and the R model looks kinda weird to me, but in black without the top fairing, it looks right to me. It sits nice and the power should get me in loads of trouble. I already have the 45 degree air-cooled V-Twin thing covered. Sold the Bandit, so I gotta have something to go nuts on.

You know, it'll NEVER win in a Race against a yellow '01 ZX-6.........

I hear ya. The R is strange looking. The CR looks the business.

Get the accessory higher bars and you'll have a wheelie machine for sure.

You mean there is a bike out there that CAN beat it? I've been bench pressing, bike riding, and cramming for my MSF test just in case.

Well, I went in to buy the Buell XB12ss and I was 99.9% sure I was coming out with one. My head told me that was the most sorted and probably the best buy. I didn't count on going in and sitting on the 1125CR and pretty much digging that thing. I really tried to buy the XB, but my gut was tugging me back to the CR. Hell, they wrote up the CR for $300 bucks more, and I even tried to get that to convince me to get the XB. Anyway, I left the dealer without making a decision, partly becuase I wasn't sure and partly for effect. After a few hours, I called and told them I wanted the CR.......only if they could cut the $300 bucks and do it for the same as the XB. After two minutes on hold, they said they would do it. So I am now a 2009 1125CR owner. Ken was right again. That 'Harley Guy' in me just couldn't resist that Sportster motor.

Anyway, I wanted MOKE to be proud of me, and that really turned me over to the Rotax motor. So, I did what all those clowns that screamed at Buell for years: I got a Buell with a proper motor!

Hell yes Iam glad you got the 1125, you'll love it. You were right to call them back and make the extra trip back. Sneaky! I know after you ride it you'll realize it was the better bike. Trackday anyone? Cheering!!! WHOOT WHOOT!
