Remember, "Motorcycles are my life, Sportsters I do for fun"......The XB 12 is what a Sporty should be. To be honest I'm surprised you need to ask.

Well, I went and did the deed, and got a new bike. There is buying with your head, and buying with your gut. I went with my gut.

So which one did you get, knucklehead?

If LR were buying with his head, he'd have bought the CR. But since he said he bought with his gut, it has to be the Sportster engine. He's a HD guy in the end, and the CR is just not that much a Harley.

George went Rotax. He always said if Buell ever put a "proper" motor in, he'd be the first in line to buy.

So anyway, it was cool to see all the comments. I really love Ken's response, becuase I'm a 'Harley Guy' of course. Well, I went in to buy the Buell XB12ss and I was 99.9% sure I was coming out with one. My head told me that was the most sorted and probably the best buy. I didn't count on going in and sitting on the 1125CR and pretty much digging that thing. I really tried to buy the XB, but my gut was tugging me back to the CR. Hell, they wrote up the CR for $300 bucks more, and I even tried to get that to convince me to get the XB. Anyway, I left the dealer without making a decision, partly becuase I wasn't sure and partly for effect. After a few hours, I called and told them I wanted the CR.......only if they could cut the $300 bucks and do it for the same as the XB. After two minutes on hold, they said they would do it. So I am now a 2009 1125CR owner. Ken was right again. That 'Harley Guy' in me just couldn't resist that Sportster motor.

Anyway, I wanted MOKE to be proud of me, and that really turned me over to the Rotax motor. So, I did what all those clowns that screamed at Buell for years: I got a Buell with a proper motor!

You weren't first in line. But I guess if you wait in line long enough you get one for half price.
