'Pragmatic' means that we persue Human Rights issues when it suits our political and economic needs. Otherwise, 'rotsa ruck!

I blame George Bush. Being in power was never this complicated before he came along. He ruined it for everybody.

Bill Clinton and Chuck Schumer are praising the Supreme Court for overturning an anti-gay-marriage law that they both signed.

Dat broad is fuglier an' more shriveled-up every f'n time I see her. No damn wonder Bubba jumped up-an-down on every other split-tail he bumped-into. Can't say as I blame him.

You can really see the physical toll the campaign and her Secretary of State stress has taken on her.

Like we ever did anything else? This is news to anyone?

The Shah of Iran, Saddam Hussien, we've always backed despots and dictators if they happened to fit our policy de jour; the hell with Human Rights or Democracy. Then as soon as we either don't need them any more or we like somebody else better, we overthow them, invade their country, whatever. Hell, in the 80's we were supplying weapons to the very same Afghanis we're busy killing now.

I love the "Terrorists are pi$$ed because we've got them locked in Gitmo" logic.

So now we're going to move them from an island in the Caribbean to Northern Illinois! They're gonna be really pi$$ed now!

I guess since the Olympic payoff didn't work, the prison payoff is second best.
