Simon Cowell donates to sick girl - why?
Simon Cowell donates $160,000 to save girl's life.
Question for the folks here who think we need government health care: The girl is British. She needs an $800,000 operation in New York. Why is the British NHS not performing the treatments? Or even the Canadians? Serious question.

In addition to not being free, one can glean from the article that her survival rates are MUCH higher if she gets the treatment here rather than England.
Innovation is stifled when the gov't rations care. Remember, in the old USSR the grocery stores had nothing on the shelves, yet the politicians had special stores where they could buy goods. Sound familiar?

My ass hurts! And I'm supposed to be able to feel my ass! Why? Why can't they figure how to stop my ass from hurting? God Damn It! If we do get Govt. Health Care, it will be like Kaiser...unless you have an ingrown toenail, or a slight rash, Kaiser is next to worthless. Too many patients. I hates dat Kaiser ahyuk yuk yuk...but I loves my spinach!
