Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like the wine bottles in the picture are set in the wine rack with the necks up. Doesn't look very sophisticated to me. Of course, most of the people here only drink fresh wine from screwcap bottles.

The wine mini fridges run about $1500, I put two in one house we renovated. Though we put the shelves in the right way... Still $3k to keep wine in two small fridges, to each their own.

You only need to keep the cork down for red wine. White wine goes bad before the cork dries out enough to matter.
