Yes I remember that now. That's when I moved my entire retirement out of the stock market and into govt bonds where it never lost a cent. I figured that that "most ethical congress in history" would really screw the pooch. Was right too.

Come on, privatization of SS was a fabulous idea. Free Market!!!! (cant even visualize all the seniors that would be on the street if that went through a few years ago)

The UK is sinking under the weight of it's political correctness.
