Default What is she talking about?

Nancy Pelosi can't win the arguments, so she turns on the hysteria:

“I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw — I saw this myself in the late ’70s in San Francisco, this kind of — of rhetoric was very frightening and it gave — it created a climate in which we — violence took place... And so I wish that we would all, again, curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements that are made, understanding that — that some of the people — the ears it is falling on are not as balanced as the person making the statement might assume... But, again, our country is great because people can say what they think and they believe, but I also think that they have to take responsibility for any incitement that they may cause.”

I'm wracking my brain, but I'll be damned if I can think of what late-'70s San Francisco political violence she's referring to. Is she senile or is she just making sh** up?

OK, I wiki'ed the Moscone/Milk assassination and got this:

The Moscone–Milk assassinations were the killings of San Francisco mayor George Moscone and openly gay Supervisor Harvey Milk, who were shot and killed in San Francisco City Hall by former Supervisor Dan White on November 27, 1978. White was angry that Moscone refused to re-appoint him to his just-resigned Board of Supervisor's seat, and that Milk heavily lobbied against the re-appointment.

WTF does that have to do with heated political debate?

And I Googled "Dan White", and he was a Democrat.

So Nancy is afraid that Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh and the Tea Partiers are going to incite Democrat-on-Democrat workplace homicides?

This woman is an imbecile.

They happened about the time all those black churches were burning in Arkansas.

I do remember being told as a serviceman to wear civvies in Than Franthithco when I came back from Nam. The violence she is talking about comes from her own people.

Absolutely nothing. It's just another diversion from the reality that these idiots in Washington are nuts. I don't think they get the hint until someone yells in their face, and then they label them nuts, racist, redneck, or whatever to make them feel better about themselves. It's all part of the 'change' and 'hope' you heard tell about.

So what has changed over the last 8 years? One thing. The 'other' side complaining about bad behavior. Funny they never noticed their own bad behavior over oh-so-many years. The shoe is on the other foot as they say.

They both do the same shyt and then blame the other side for it. I waited for 8 years to see the Pubbies man up and eliminate the Dept of Education. No luck. Bush doubled it. Now I'm waiting for the Rats to repeal the Patriot Act. Crickets.

Obama just extended most parts of the Patriot Act. Do we hear any screaming of our rights being trampled by the Dems? Not a word.

Screaming is getting old, just resigned to our fate as to date screaming has achieved nothing. Our W2's are too small to be taken seriously. Have a nice Day.
