How do you sleep at night, knowing you've taken food from mouths of the dealer and his employees? That their tiny ghetto chillins will be selling their bodies on Ventura... All so you could save a measley five grand. Nice going.

A new BMW dealer opened up near me last Spring. There are just as many bikes on the floor now as there were when it opened. I'd bet this dealer would be glad too sell even one K1300 at 5K below MSRP.

I think he needs a Klazy Ken seminar, stat!

Good deal and an excellent bike, the GT was my favorite as well. It was actually between that and a Road Glide but I tried a Standard FLH and it just fit like a glove and was a couple of bucks cheaper as well. Overall I got a better deal trading the Dyna plus cash for the FLHT than I would have gotten doing the same for the GT or RT, plus the 'LectraGlide just floats my boat in a deeply Biblical sort of way........too bad LR sold his 'Busa, you guys could do a ticket run on them up I-5 to 12'rs place

I already did too many ticket runs. That's why that bike is gone. Funny thing though, I have been searching craigslist for another one. Nuts.

Yes a radar detector might be necessary in short order. It cruises so easily at triple digit speeds that the cruise control is the only thing that makes me behave.

I know I'll miss the Glide but Harley rentals are everywhere and when I travel, I can always get one.

The boy and I are heading to France in October. Those mountains in southern France will look mighty tempting. We might have to bring the helmets.
