This is the behavior of what is essentially our #1 diplomat?

The mind boggles. And suddenly I believe the lamp-throwing stories.

You want a good President? Then stop disqualifying bald guys. Or short guys. Or women who have funny hick accents. Or otherwise-intelligent Bible-thumpers. Or atheists. Or brutally honest people who don't speak in cliches and platitudes.

People get the government they deserve. The politicians aren't the problem, we are. We don't want taxes but we want Uncle Sugar to take care of us. We won't elect anyone who doesn't mouth the same meaningless drivel and who doesn't fit the cookie-cutter mold. And then we pine for some politician-savior to come along who's Not Like The Rest.

I like the town hall people. I like people who just say "No" when it comes to gummint. But this country will never elect someone who tells us "No."

Bleary-eyed rant over.

Anybody that isn't a lawyer would be a good start. Trained liars usually aren't the best people to represent anything.

I think they should appoint RuPaul. At least it would be funnier.

Good point. Forgot about that one.

Think there's a reason that tort reform isn't even on the table in the healthcare debate?
