Default My weekend travels

I went to Sioux Falls, SD to help move my parents back to the east side of MN over the weekend. I took I-90 across souther MN traveling east and I saw just a few hundred(or thousand) bikes going west to Sturgis. The highlights were seeing 2-3 Bad Visions. They actually looked halfways OK going the opposite direction at 80mph. I also saw around 8 Can-Am Spyders. Those look quite interesting. I'd love to give one a good thrashing. The Spyders were always in packs of 2-4, there was never a solitary Spyder on the road. Afraid of getting squished maybe?

There were 2-3 sport tourers and about the same number of sport bikes on the road. The VAST majority were HD's with a few Goldwings/metric cruisers in the mix.

Couple of years ago I saw a guy riding back from Sturgis across Wyoming on I-80 on an 80 inch flathead. Now, that took real cojones.

So, when you were moving the folks:

Did your Granny sit in her rocker in the back of the truck?

OR

Did y'all sing "Movin on UP, to the East Side, to a deeelux apartment in the SKYYYY!!!"

I don't have any Grannies anymore.

Nope, we used a semi and I was several miles ahead of it so the CB on the Concours was out of range.

My brother's a union dude. He knows people that have been laid off for a year but don't get other jobs because they'll lose all the union benefits.

My friend is a United flight attendant. She is not required to work right now. She can pick and choose when she wants to fly but she keeps all of her benefits.
