Maybe HD is going to come out with a single cylinder Sporty?

Maybe call it a 'Sprint?'

So I was wrong: the "upgrade" to the Buell Blast! isn't going to be the Buell Kaboom! - it's gonna be the Buell Squinch!.............

No, word had it that HD was working with ATK for a starter dual purpose bike, but with sales being in the tank, the York plant closing, lay offs and such I doubt if it'll see the light of day.

And now that the BLAST is history I doubt it even more. Strange days ahead.

I saw that ad in the last mag I was looking at and thought it was a joke. Nothing like telling quite a few of your customers that they bought a complete wad of crap! I'm sure lots of happy Blast owners are now switching to Honda as we speak.

Switching to a Honda what? 250 Rebel or Nighthawk? Those are worse than the Blast.

I, for one, am very pleased to see that the LSD pipeline to Milwaukee is still open.

I'm not sure if they are worse or not, but at least Honda didn't take a full page ad to tell everyone that has a Rebel or Nighthawk that they own a complete piece of shyt! Not real good if you like return customers.

To me, it doesn't seem to be saying that the Blast was crappy, more that it didn't really fit in with the rest of the Buell line, and wasn't intended to be a sportbike. Both of which I agree with even though I like them for what they are. I've heard rumors of new Blasts turning up that aren't wearing Buell badges. Maybe everyone's decided that the Blast simply wasn't being marketed right.

But I would like to see some sort of mini-Lightning and have Buell try to get his fingers in the Ninja 250 pie.
