I'm thinking you'll need a much different setup with the exhaust. That underslung can works great, but you'll damn sure high-center on it, if you don't actually catch something with it.

And a guard for the oil filter...
Wasn't it you that suggested this, and lleuB rename it the "KABOOM!"?

Yeah, it's fun to be weird, just ask me. 360lbs, not too bad. I'd avoid the TrailWings; (AKA: DeathWings) they're the first thing to go on any VStrom. They make them with a polymer additive that liquifies into oil when water is present. Great fun.

Jeez, my lawnmower's faster than a Blast. Why not get all the hop up stuff for a Sportster you can find and stick in on that one cylinder thingy in front. A gigantic S&S carb would work with the right cam, valve and rocker arm setup. Then you'd have a whole 25 horsies to screw around with...

It's hard finding 16in tires for what I want to do. Other than the TWs what's out there.

Conti Trail Attack, Metzler Tourance, those are the best IMO.

No dice Ken. Weird wheel size I guess. Think a Shinko 3.00-16 will work? Front rim is 2.5 & rear is 2.75. Remember, it's just a toy to toss around on fire roads. Not really intending ANY real off-road stuff- just dirt and gravel roads.

That's what you get for buying a weird-ass motorcycle that's missing half it's motor.

The Ozzies seem to buy a lot of Shinkos and like them. Stuff is expensive down under, and the Shinkos are a pair for the price of one Conti. BTW, the Conti TAs and Tourance aren't knobbies or anything.

Just start collecting rubber bands and you can wrap them around the wheels when the rest of the bike is ready.

Must be made by Avon, the Gripsters are Slipsters in the wet.
