My favorite quote:

"We're not sure why this happens," said Andres Rivera, a glacialist with the Center for Scientific Studies in Valdivia, Chile. "But not all glaciers respond equally to climate change."

Not all glaciers respond equally to climate change? So not all ice cubes respond equally in a Bloody Mary? Oh please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it's very difficult sometimes when you are a pseudo-scientist and you have to pick the facts to support your preconceived theory. It's doubly difficult when your prestige and future paychecks are involved. Global warming is going to be "true" no matter what the observed data is. This is why the WH can push some ridiculous govt lying global warming scare story while temperatures are way below normal in most of the hemisphere. The march of totalitarianism must go on.

Usually by now I'm wearing mesh gear. This A.M. it was solid gear and rain add-ons. Seems like Salt Lake City is turning into Seattle.... except for the world class idiot part.

The spring so far in Chicago has averaged 12 degrees below normal this year. It is already most of the way thru June, and I haven't even touched the air conditioner. I can't remember that here ever in 50 years. Between rain and the chilly temps, I think Seattle weather has moved here too.

Send some of that 'cool' down here!

I rode (finally!) this morning, and was soaked when I got to work!

I think it was raining, but you couldn't see any drops.

Jeez! If I'd hit one more traffic light, I might not have made it!

Ha! I had to go back on the roof and cover up the swamp cooler because of all the rain and cold air that was blowing into the house through it. Never before. We even had to light up the wood stove at the cabin last weekend. In mid-June? LOL!

It's been reasonably warm here, but still below average for MN temps. The air has been on, but only to control the humidity lately though.

I haven't been riding this week due to massive storms and I hurt my neck getting hit in the face with a football and falling down some stairs. Two unrelated accidents.
