I remember a few decades-ago there was a study about Bovine Flatulence to the tune of several-dozen-million bucks (funded by YOUR TAXPAYER DOLLARS!) of their effects on the Stratospheric Ozone-layer...................

But hey - that ain't no Wack of Wamb!

Hell, I could do it NOW for about 6-mil. TOPS. I still have the Deed to Dad's Farm, and it'd be REAL easy to get me some cows N' stuff.

Mebbe even a lamb or two as a "control".

Then, I could just Farm until the money ran out.................

Vegetarians have been using this argument for years (not the burping of the lambs). They've argued that we should not consume meat because of the energy expended to raise, slaughter, ship and pack the meat. They say that if we all ate vegetables, we would have so much more food to go around for everyone.

I wonder which one has greater doller-per-calorie value: a pound of meat or the caloric equivelent in organic tomatoes.

Didn't Reagan say essentially the same thing back in the '80s and got pilloried by the left?

Look at a human's teeth. We are omnivores are need some meat in our diets. I don't care how many idiots sign on to Hinduism and call it something else like veganism. What's real is real.

There would be more food to go around if the same folks didn't push for bio fuels too. They just want to jam their lifestyle down everyone elses throat.
