A few years back when a Ford dealer closed its doors in Inglewood, right off Manchester Blvd. pretty soon all the auto parts, tire, radiator, car washes and other auto related businesses that had been around for decades closed up too. I feel for that poor guy in Florida, his life is pretty much over, financially. Maybe if he's a veteran he can sign everything over to his wife and go live in a VA hospital, like I'm thinking of doing. Since GBII screwed me out of my VA benefits that's the only way I qualify, if I'm destitute living in a cardboard box on main st.

I'm getting old, and just realized there will be no body to take care of me when I hit retirement, so it's off to the VA Hospital for me. Beats a nursing home I guess.

Does the government bail out Chrysler and keep all the dealerships open, or does Chrysler go bankrupt and re-organize, clearing away the dealerships that aren't profitable and back off the government teat like they did 25 years ago? Maybe this buy would like us to pump more money into the company than we already have. Bankruptcy sucks for everybody, but what Chrysler is doing is necessary if they want to stay in business.

Retire to FL and stay at my place. You can help me build my collection of antique bikes and babysit the kid in exchange for room and board. Oh, and I get 10% of your book profits for editing and printing support. Really.

Funny how you liberals can sound just like uncaring conservatives who freak out at the idea of helping people when your guy in the WH is doing this. If Bush did this you would be screaming for his head.

Yeah, and if chocolate bunnies rained from the sky, we'd all have brown stuff on our shirts. I had three major beefs with Bush:

1. Invading Iraq (and virtually ignoring Afghanistan as a result).
2. Treatment of prisoners.
3. Spying on US citizens.

That's about it. Ok, he did sound retarded when he spoke, but that was just funny, not a real concern. You sure make a lot of assumptions about me. Can you send me an email early each morning and let me know what I'm supposed to think?

Try it. Couldn't be any worse than what you currently think.
