This one is summing up what is happening too.

Analysis: Obama moving to center on some issues | Comcast.net

to sum up:

Cimbala said Obama's present course reflects "the difference between running for office and being president."

I like this part:

"Stephen J. Cimbala, a political science professor at Penn State University, Brandywine Campus, said Obama is a quick study, showing "political shrewdness and an ability to adapt to conditions and circumstances on the run."

So, logically, one must say that if Obama is continuing Bushian positions out of "shrewdness" and "adaptability", then Bush is being vindicated to some degree, yes?

The Libs still can't figure out if Bushie was an idiot, or an evil genius. All I know is that he 'duped' more Libs than anyone in history. Just listen to that liar Pelosi. She is going to take a fall for her recent lies, just watch.

pure twaddle...Bush was a borderline re-tard with homicidal tendancies who surrounded himself with the arrogant meglomaniac Rumsfuk and the notorious child abuser and poor shot D*ck(less)Cheney, not to mention his sycophantic "wife" Condoleza...

Any similarities between Oblama's enlightened and messianic leadership and BushCo's criminal malfeasance is purely coincidental and the wet-dreams of the great rightwing media conspirity to discredit the Chosen One by linking him to Bush. no matter how teneous the ties may be...

Here's another confirmation Bush was right:

AP Source: Democrats won't fund Guantanamo closing | Comcast.net

I can sum up the article quickly:

"It appears to be a tactical retreat"

Yuck Yuck.

Hear, hear! Excellent use of facts/data!

(BTW, is it "Hear, hear!" or "Here, here!"? "Hear" makes more sense, but I'm never quite sure...)

I think it was originally Hear Ye Hear Ye, or in modern English.. " listen up"..... However a good argument could be made for Here Here as "I'm here and I have the floor"...

Tough call really but I think you'd be within the spirit of the thing no matter which usage you intended.
