Default Just stirring the pot some more

I thought there was consensus?

How come they have to come up with new ways to market the obvious?

Jeez. Why don't they just come right out and say "Global Warming is doubleplus ungood"?

Hint - if you have to keep coming up with new names for something, then something's wrong with that something. See "liberal" - "progressive."

PS - nice sig!

So it's about propaganda, not science. Like I didn't know that already. But then, I don't like Kool-aid.

Lies are lies no matter how they package them. The need to package this 'Climate Change' nonsense at all just exposes it as the farce it really is.

“When someone thinks of global warming, they think of a politicized, polarized argument. When you say ‘global warming,’ a certain group of Americans think that’s a code word for progressive liberals, gay marriage and other such issues.”

No doubt.

Not me. I just think 'really stupid'. Sums it all up nicely.

Alternative energy sources are, I think,
and there is that direction which will deduce the world from crisis.
The epoch of oil and gas monopolies will end.

It comes in all flavors:

"The research directly parallels marketing studies conducted by oil companies, utilities and coal mining concerns that are trying to “green” their images with consumers and sway public policy."

"The epoch of oil and gas monopolies will end."

And the epoch of alternative energy monopolies will begin. And the difference will be what?

If the lefties are so concerned about green house gases and they also love to claim they care so much about people (in fact liberals preach incessantly that only they care about people and that all non-liberals are evil) then there is no alternative but to switch to improved nuclear power. There is absolutely no other source of clean energy that can maintain an acceptable standard of living on the horizon. None. All other proposed sources are pure blue sky.

So, why do the lefties refuse to consider nuclear power? There is no alternative, except forcing by the power of the govt gun barrel a standard of living so low that people would envy the slums of Mexico City. And listening to environmentalists one hears this exact goal.

There's nothing wrong with wanting a pollution free energy model. There is everything wrong with relying on magic for it.
