Default Nothing funnier than a good Global Warming story.

I hope they didn't try to pet the Polar Bears. Remember what happened to those idiots.....

I'd make a snide statement, but what's the point.

"But once the team has been re-supplied a new challenge awaits them, as satellite images show a huge stretch of floating sea ice in their path has broken up leaving an Arctic river in its place. The break in the ice stretches for tens of kilometers, barring the team's progress northwards, meaning they will probably have to swim across to reach their destination."

They're going to swim across? I guess they'll stuff their parkas in garbage bags and strip down to their undies and hop right in. For crying out loud...this has got to be the worst polar "expedition" since Byrd froze his ass dead up there.

Guys, Guys,

They are British! They eschew planning and rely on the classic British "muddling through". (Well, it worked in WWII....)

I bet they make it, barely, and with much handing out of medals and commendations, and pondering by more organized societies, wondering how in the world they did it......

And, being Brits, they don't have to worry about having a dentist along....

(Am I in trouble now? Not yet? Wow! You guys are a tough crowd!!)

Note to self:

When traveling to the north pole get weather prediction from the NOAA and not from Algore.

Also, when traveling to the north pole take extra blankets and MREs.

All the tough guys here are Libertarians or at least right-leaning. You're their hero already!
