Had a brace of 38/357's and a Rossi lever carbine chambered for both, two 44 mag handguns, and a Ruger .44 Carbine, then two 8mm VZ24 (Czech Mausers) and an 8mm Egyptian FN49 with the "High Power" BAR Mag conversion.

Made purchasing/or reloading a simple ordeal. Got rid of all the off-caliber stuff like a .218 Bee, a 22/250 Winchester, Russian .44 (for my Colt) and other esoteric stuff.

Get lots of stuff that shoots .22 long rifle too. Can't go wrong with a .22.

I've thought about getting several guns that are the same caliber, but then I think I'd get bored. I like the variety. I am now going to be trading my .22mag rifle for nice 60 gallon 220V air compressor. I figure I can buy a new rifle for less than the air compressor so when I was offered the trade I said "yes."

Marlin Model 60. It is a tube fed .22 that holds 14 rounds. You can pick one up new for about $160. You can find them used for under $100. I got mine at Wal-Mart for $99, new. Holy crap, that was nearly 10 years ago! Where the hell did the time go?!

Yes indeedy! I came across a Ruger or Remington(I can't remember which) .22/.22mag revolver, just switch out the cylinder for whatever you want to shoot for $220 new. I'd like to get a .22 some day, but the frequency I would shoot it negates any need or desire for one at the moment.
