Rolling blackouts were speculator caused, just like our oil crisis over the summer. Once Enron went down there hasn't been one rolling blackout to my knowledge. Just AssH0les controlling the markets to line their pockets. But yes our infrastructure is crumbling, but what will rebuilding it do? Just cause us spoiled americans to watch more TV. Tax Breaks Bey bey! They are the only answer.

Wait a minute, I'm so confused now. All summer long a tax break on the middle class was "Redistribution of Wealth" and "Socialism" now they are the way to prosperity. John McCain help me out, you have me so confused.

Ken, The not born in US theory. Why? because he hasn't shown us (the public) his birth certificate. If there is nothing for him to hide then why not come out with it?

Maybe if you listened, Obama's way of paying for that 'middle class' tax break was to raise taxes on those making over a certain amount. That IS 'Redistribution of Wealth' and "Socialism' by definition. Are you still confused at this point, or did that clarify things for you?

So cutting taxes on those making over a certain amount and ignoring those making under it isnt? And I could of sworn socialism was where the worker owns part of the pie, working together for the common good (granted with greed it will never work). D@mn you John McCain, I'm even more confused now.

Flat tax and be done! Or national sales tax.

That pouring money into highway and infrastructure projects is just a bunch of bull. I don't see how putting people to work all around the country could ever create one Job. McCain was right when he said friday that infrastructure is bull and tax breaks are the way to go. Whooo Hooo. Them tax breaks work great! Just look around, all those breaks under Bush have turned this country around, we need more with all this positive response. The country is strong!
Excellent apples and oranges reasoning. Keep it up.

You recall the quote that the average age of a democracy is 200 years because the people eventually decide to vote themselves wealth from the public treasury and loose fiscal policy destroys everything? Then you get a slavery again? It's happening now before our eyes. With 2/3rds of the population applauding it. Most of the rest too demoralized to fight back.

One trillion dollars deficit spending projected this year. $800 billion "stimulus" that will just be political payoffs to the people who got Zero elected. It's a load anyhow because NO govt stimulus package EVER rescued an economy... not ever. Look at all the fools who buy the Republicrat's BS. "Spending on roads projects will rescue the economy." Ha! FDR's stupid govt spending made the depression last longer. And the Republicrat's will do the same. All the while the idiots will applaud all this because the latest criminal in the WH makes pretty speeches.

The only thing that can rescue the economy is tax and regulation cuts married to massive govt regulatory cuts. Never happen. The politicians crave power too much and would rather rule a dying society than be unimportant in a vibrant one.

Let's see if I can run though some of the stuff above. Sorry there's so much that it's hard to cover all of it:

- For 8 years we had a buffoon for President who could barely speak coherently. So excuse me for enjoying hearing someone who sounds like he showed up for class. Somebody who says something other than I need to be all scared of the big bad terrorists. Like what we're doing about our future.

- Every Pres since Johnson promoted energy independence. Obama made the point himself, or did you not catch that? Yeah? And? Are we going to do something about it yet or are ya'll going to hope Palin's prayers for oil are answered? We all get ape**** when gas is $4, and act like it never happened when it's down for the moment.

- I'm trying to remember all the great plans the last guy had...but I can't. Oh yeah, his supid-ass war and wrecking your last shred of civil liberties. Nice job on the economy too. WTF could Obama do that would make it worse than it already is? Nothing.

- I think what, 40,000 people lost their job TODAY from just 2 companies...it's MILLIONS in the past few months? I really hope Obama's got some ideas on what to do about it. Are you feeling really great about your economic future right now? Got $500? What's your plan?

- For two years I heard brilliant rethoric like "I pay taxes. That's all I need to know to vote against the Democrats." "Obama will tax us into poverty." Bla bla bla. I've heard nothing but tax cuts since Obama took office. Even the rich ****ers aren't getting their asses handed to them like they thought they would. Yet, y'all are still going off on the taxes thing.

Love ya, mean it.
