Default Merry Christmas to all MOFOs

Hope y'all have a very merry Christmas (yes I'm using the dreaded "C" word). May your in-laws not trash your house too badly and may your brother-in-law not puke and pass out in the coat closet this time. Heck, with a little luck they might actually leave eventually. Oh yeah and with a little luck your niece's boyfriend won't get caught smoking a joint in the back yard. Plus may the dog not get into the cheese tray and upend the pretzel bowl. I guess that covers it.

Oh yeah.... ride safe, Southerners. Everyone else keep shoveling.

Ditto from FL, Merry Christmas to all! Unless you're offended by the expression, in which case: Happy Holiday Season, *******.

Getting ready to ride up to Grandma's house...might be a bit wet, but nothing serious. Mostly sunny and 70's.

BTW: was there a War on Christmas this year? I sure hope I didn't miss the whole thing like last year.

Target banned the bell ringers again.

I get to avoid Target all year once more.

Speaking of Christmas turkeys, I saw the most amazing thing. There's a few young couples in the complex here who decided to deep fry a turkey; apparently none had done it before. They had it all set up on their patio, and I watched them drop the bird in. A few minutes later I heard all this yelling and shouting and ran back out on the balcony. The turkey was lying a pool of oil about 1/2 way across the tennis courts, and the chef was getting first aid for burns on his arms and neck. Apparently they were really careful to defrost the turkey, but nobody thought to remove the plastic bag of giblets. As the turkey heated up, the bag pressurized, and when it blew up, it launched the turkey like nuclear missle from a submarine.
